PLEIN AIR LANDSCAPE PAINTING WORKSHOP
with MEREDITH NEMIROVat the GHOST RANCH, ABIQUIU, NEW MEXICO – OCTOBER 13-19, 2013 Join us as we return for our ninth year of painting the incredible landscape at theGhost Ranch in Northern New Mexico! The third week of October is prime for the changing colors of autumn and each year we gain a greater intimacy with the land thathas inspired many generations of artists! Spend five full days paintings at various locations around the ranch and surroundingcountry. Take a tour of O’Keeffe’s House and Studio. Learn about the history and geology of the local area. Each day will include presentations of artist’s work, readings about landscape and painting, on-site demos, individual instruction and critique. This workshop is for artists with experience painting outdoors. All demos are done in watercolor but you are welcome to work in another medium. The cost of the workshop is $1200. This includes double-occupancy room with privatebath, all meals, 24 hour studio and workshop fee. Single rooms are available for an extra fee of $300. Not included is travel to and from the Ranch and supplies.This workshop fills early. Please send a $200 deposit by March 15th to hold your place.Balance is due on July 1st.
