GO
Date |
January 28, 2010 The "go" date is the date at which WCA determines whether there are enough students or not to run the class. If this is a class you are interested in, please be sure to enroll before the "Go" date (and encourage your friends to do so as well) so that we can be sure to run the class! We will notify you at the end of the business day on the "GO" date if the class is to be cancelled so that you can make other plans for that date, but ideally, we'll see you at the class! |

Course
Description
|
This fun and inspiring class will include yoga related games, songs and stories. Children will learn the basic standing and seated poses along with fun balancing poses that will inspire and challenge kids of all ages (Both English and Sanskrit names of poses will be taught). The class will begin with a brief check in (allowing kids to express emotions and feelings), breathing exercises and a centering meditation. Through breath and centering children will learn to calm themselves and return to a “safe space” that they can access for years to come. The class will then move to warm ups, Sun Salutations and Asanas (poses) all interlaced with stories, games and song. A final creative relaxation will leave children feeling rested and happy. Yoga will give your child the strength, flexibility and inner calm to live life in truth and fullness. |
