Mommy & Me Summer Spanish in Montrose with Señora Christi Berry

Come alongside your "hijo/hija" and have fun learning Spanish by being active (and silly)!
Through motions, songs, games and TPRS( Total Physical Response Storytelling) you and your young child will learn basic Spanish and conversational phrases you can practice in your day-to-day routines each day in your home. Take-home activities and ideas for practice and reinforcement will be provided each week. Come enjoy learning the Spanish language while you play and connect with your little one!
Tuesdays & Thursdays August 1-8 from 4-5 pm. Registration is $35 a week, or $60 for the 2 week series. Drop in rates of $20 per class available only if class has met its minimum students of the week.
Christi Berry, also known as Señora Berry, lives in Montrose with her husband, two children and two Main Coon cats. A Colorado native, she enjoys hiking, running, snowshoeing, knitting and most of all, teaching Spanish to students of all ages. She studied at CMU and The University of Costa Rica and has a BA in Applied Professional Spanish. Señora Berry has taught over 30 Spanish classes and summer camps the past four years privately and in several charter and private schools in the area to students preschool age-adults. Christi utilizes TPR(Total Physical Response) and Waldorf methods to teach the language through many dynamic, creative and engaging means. Students are rarely bored in her class; they are too busy moving, acting out, singing and practicing newly acquired knowledge through games and conversational simulations.
