Artists have chosen trees as a subject for their landscape painting or as a symbolic metaphor for our human experience.

In this class we will learn about trees and how to draw them. This is an experimental drawing class where we will be workingwith a variety of drawing tools to create a large scale collaborative drawings as well as a series of small works. No drawing experience is necessary. Bring some of your favorite photographs of trees. All materials supplied for a fee of $25.No tuition fee.

Meredith Nemirov received her BFA in 1977 from Parson's School of Design and has had solo exhibitions in New York, and in Telluride and Ridgway Colorado. She has consistently exhibited in juried and invitational shows for many years. She has several years of teaching experience, has published in American Artist Magazine, and is the owner of the Ridgway Gallery. Meredith is a popular Weehawken instructor and has generated a following of students through Weehawken since 2004. Her work is also represented by Michael Warren Contemporary Gallery in Denver.
